Melissa S. Hong, Podiatrist, DPM, FACPM, MS Board Certified in Podiatric Medicine
Dr. Melissa Hong graduated from the University of Washington with a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology. She then attended California College of Podiatric Medicine and graduated with a Doctor of Podiatric Medicine. Dr. Hong’s residency training encompassed both surgical and general podiatry.
Dr. Hong has been practicing podiatry since 1993. She joined Best Practices Healthcare Center in 2021 to treat foot and ankle disorders conservatively and educate patients about foot care.
Dr. Hong is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association, Washington State Podiatric Medical Association, American Diabetes Association, and the American College of Podiatric Medicine. She is board certified by the the American Board of Podiatric Medicine.
Dr. Melissa Hong has been living in Washington State most of her life. She enjoys hiking and running. She also likes to read and learn about wellness and healthy living.
Tim Ausink, Physician’s Assistant Board Certified in Family Practice
Tim has a 15+ year history working in medical professions. He has worked in Physical Therapy, Laboratory Medicine, and as a Certified Personal Training. These past endeavors shaped his knowledge base and guided him towards a career as a Physician’s Assistant.
Tim received his Master’s in Physician Assistant in 2016 from Heritage University and has been a practicing MS-PAC since. As a Physician’s Assistant, he has worked in Emergency Medicine, Urgent Care, and Primary Care. At Best Practices Healthcare Center in Selah, Tim will be working on building his Primary Care practice.
Matthew Rosenberger, Physician’s Assistant Board Certified in Family Medicine and Emergency Medicine
Matt has lived in Yakima since achieving his Master’s Degree in Physician Assistant studies from University of Texas Pan American in 2015. Prior to that, he graduated from the University of Washington’s Medex PA program. Matt has worked in Emergency Medicine most of his career. Most recently, he transitioned to Urgent Care Medicine.
Kaylee Vantrease, ARNP Board Certified in Family Practice
Kaylee was born in Redmond, WA and move to Yakima in 2012 to pursue her nursing degree. She graduated from Washington State University in 2015 with a Bachelors’ degree in Nursing, then worked at Memorial Hospital as a Nurse for about 3 years. Kaylee obtained her Master’s degree from Frontier Nursing University and acquired her Family Nurse Practitioner license in 2019.
Kaylee has a passion for the surrounding community and wants to provide holistic care to all the patients at Best Practices Healthcare Center. Kaylee and her husband Joshua have 4 daughters and live in Yakima’s West Valley. In her spare time, Kaylee enjoys reading, hiking, camping, and time with her family.
Jody Gray, ARNP Board Certified in Family Medicine
Jody B. Gray is a Certified Family Nurse Practitioner and Registered Nurse with 34 years’ experience in nursing. She holds a Master’s degree in Nursing from Washington State University and a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Washington State University. Before attending graduate school, Jody was a clinical instructor at Washington State University. She then worked in family practice in Grandview, Washington as a Nurse Practitioner for 10 years. Jody’s area of specialty is primary care in a family practice. She joined the medical team at Best Practices Healthcare Center of Selah in 2020.
Jody was raised in the Yakima Valley. She is married to her husband Greg and has 1 daughter, Ashley. Jody enjoys traveling, hiking, and spending time with her family.
